Newbury, not a 7610 but I got a 2920 and I just finished skidding and cutting up a tri-axle of firewood. During the process I had to skid my logs across a small bridge that the log truck could not cross. I hooked on to 2 on one trip, the biggest was ~24-26" at the base and the other was ~8-10" at the base, both were the same length, ~30' (whatever fits on a tri-axle log truck). I use one of those easy mover reciever hitches with a 12" drop hitch flipped up side down with a hook bolted to it for my skidding. It allows me to get the log front off the ground a bit. Anyway, that was about all I would want to tangle with, plenty of power the issue was getting the log off the ground..again plenty of lift power but it lightened the front to where I couldnt steer very well. I ended up using low range and the cruise control along with the split brakes to make the sharp turns. This was on a flat yard so out in the woods I would have never tackle that much weight unless it was down a skid road or something. Good luck and have fun.

Thanks, based on Timber and Lumber Calculators at WOODWEB that's probably about 1.5 ton.
If there are any other responders could you put in diameter at base and top plus length.
And how you hauled them :)

I generally just haul one larger or several smaller logs at the time because of possible turning issues with my B7510. I have pulled birch, maple, beach that were about 18-20" at the base and 30-35'. On my rough trails one tree is all I would pull because on the uphill sections I sometimes loose traction. If there is a turn in the road I just cut the skidded log in half and hook up the two pieces because I don't want to damage the trees along the trail . It is amazing how much damage I can avoid that way. This method works for me because I only cut about 3-4 cords per year. I have pulled cedar logs that were about the same size two at the time but it was all blown down years ago, bone dry stuff.

I second easygo post with my 7510.. I have loaded turfs, and use a hitch 3 pt hitch mount to chain up and lift the logs, key is getting the butt off the ground...

Also see attached pic of the bucket with my grapple...with the loaded turfs I could handle oak and maple logs 4' long up to 30" and these fresh cut pines 6' at 30"+

Thanks,
yea, getting the butt off the ground is the KEY.

There are certainly times when you can't get close enough, obsticles or the lumber is just too big, but when ever possible I back right up the the trunk, use a short logging chain to choke the butt and with the 3pt trailer receiver lowered , chain it up tight arount the ball , raise the hitch and away you go,....I said away you go..........ok too big of a log:D

I have a similar setup too. I built this combo contraption last year with hauling logs in mind. I have short chains that I choke around the but end of the log with a slip hook and put the chain into the top grab-hook. The slack end of the chain has a grab hook that I slide onto the first available like as the chain exits the slip hook and slide the chain into one of the lower hooks. It sounds much more difficult then it is. So that way the actual pulling force comes from the lower links and the top only has to hold the log off the ground.

Firefighter Kubota made a good point about backing right up to the logs.
I don't have pictures of this setup, but. If I have a log off the trail and I don't want to cut an access route I use a long (100') 5/8" or so nylon rope that is fed through a couple of snatch blocks. The block that is closer to the log is put up high on a tree with a chain to pull up the log end if possible. Then I just route the rope to the tractor and tie it to a large shackle that is on the drawbar. Drive forward and out comes the log to the trail. I may have to reposition the blocks a time or two. It takes longer but it is a LOT CHEAPER then buying a logging winch.
Also as it was mentioned before: turf tires work surprisingly well for this kind of work as long as you stay out of the mud.

Nice set up Easygo...

If I need to winch a log out, I get the truck!! 12K winch, if that don't work, chain it and GUN it!!!!

Looks like that truck would pull out your tractor and log at the same time without a hick-up.
