B7610 Kubota
Hello To All,

I am in ther middle of doing a 400 hour service on my B7610 and have a question. I replaced a blue HST filter and drained the front & rear plugs on the left side (sitting on it facing the steering wheel). There is a grey filer on the right side looking like it's part of the HST also. The dealer I bought the tractor from included fluids and filters as part of my purchase agreement and the grey filter is in the box with other filters. Can anyone out there tell me if the grey filer is part of the HST and should be changed now? Thanks for any replies I get back.

you need to change it too.

there is a hydro fluid filter and a hst filter.
my understanding- the hydro filter filters all hydro fluid for the whole tractor. the hst filter filters all fluid (again) that enters the hst/transmission system.

DVR,

Thanks for your response. I'll change it out also. I just wanted to make sure thats what it was.

Yes, you need to change both of them.I just did a service on my 7500 and there is 4 drain plugs plus 2 filters. When I changed mine the old stuff looked just as good as the new did.I think it holds 3.2 gals of super udt. It's expensive too,at $20.00 a gal you don't want to spill any.
