I just had the B7610 to the dealer for the 50 hr service. I had them put it on the dino. Kubota specifications call for 18 pto hp @540 pto rpm. I called the Kubota regional service dept to confirm this as there spec. It does not have any where near 18 pto hp at 540 pto rpm. The dino we were using was a bit big for the tractor and first starts reading at 10 pto hp. The 7610 would not even hold rated speed with any load applied with the dino. Quickly lugs down to 2250 engine rpm (about 250 less than rated speed) and then will hold there as you increase the load on the dino un till about 16hp on the gage. Which is not accurate because of the loss in pto rpm. The tractor has always operated like this since I put the B2750 snow blower on it. About 30 engine hrs ago. Any kind of a load and it lugs down to 2250 rpm. The dealer says I should let it lug, it will not hurt the tractor and the dino is not accurate at low power levels. The dino may not be accurate at these low power levels but it's pretty clear to me that this tractor is not governing correctly by kubota specifications. It does what I need it to do if you let it lug continuously at 2250. It is pretty tuff to get it to lug lower than that. Should I make a issue of this or just let it operate at 2250 rpm? In either case I am looking for a smaller dino to get a clear answer.
