Just want to let folks know a situation I ran into with my tractor. Nothing bad just a heads up if you have a B7510.
Ever sine I had my B7510 I noticed that the power was not that great when moving materail a brush hoging but I just chaulked it up to the 21 HP motor. Well I took it into the shop last week to get the front oil seals replaced before the warrant was out and I told the shop manger there is a weird noise in the back right of the tractor and it occured only when I had weight on the back. Told him I tightened up all the lug nuts and check the pins in the axle and they seemed to set properly. Well come to find out a rear axle bearing went bad. I got it home an moved some dirt from the dirt pile and WOW what i differnce in power. I can scoop a load of dirt at around 1800 RPM now. If I did that prior to the bearing being replaced it would kill the motor and bog down. Now it does not even flinch. That bearing must have been real bad from what I am seeing. I am happy they fixed it while it was still under warranty or I would have had a nice bill to pay down the road. Whew!!!!
So all you B7500, 7510 owners notice a some power loss check your rear axle bearings!!! Might just have been a fluke on my behalf but wanted to share my experience!
