Would love some help here. I have been torturing myself on which tractor to buy (first it was if I should buy one). I stopped looking a couple of months ago and just started back up.
I came across a 2003 B7500 DT (120 hours), with a FEL, R4's, and a new Woods BH6000 3pt backhoe for $12,900. I have a couple of questions and concerns.
* I have a hilly property and I'm concerned about how much the BH will impact the tractor's center of gravity.
* I have heard good and bad about 3pt backhoes, but have never been able to find a good pro's and con's list. Does anyone have one?
* How does this price look for this arrangement?
I have been looking at the B7610 (new) with loader and have been quoted $13,900 as well as the B7510 and quoted $12,900. In the end the BH is a nice to have. There are a few stumps and rocks that I would use it for. I'm not entirely sure if it is worth the trade off of a fully warranted new tractor.
Any insight would be great. Thanks
