Does anybody have experience with the B7500 using the BL2660 rear 60" snow blower. I am thinking of buying a B7500 and need to move Minnesota snow on my 4.2 acres. Also, I've seen a few negative comments on the deck-driven bagger for the B7500. I am currently looking at the B7500 with BL2660 rear blower and the LA302 front-end loader, and either the 54" or 60" mid-mount mower. I would appreciate any and all comments or suggestions.

I have a B7500, but I never even considered pricing a Kubota blower. Most Kubota owners on this board limit their Kubota brand implement purchases to FEL's, MM mowers, and back hoes.

I don't know who actually designs and manufactures the Kubota blower, but I do know that Pronovost, Ber-Vac, Buhler/Farm-king, and Loft are all manufacturers that live in the snow belt. I would suspect that they would be significantly cheaper, also.

As for the mower, I opted for a 3ph, rear-discharge by Buhler/Farm-King. I used to a have a B5100E with a mid-mount. I admit that the mid-mount was probably easier to control, but I had problems with grass build-up (more related to side discharge than mid-mount). The 3ph mower can get under my spruce trees (really nice when you've got a sunburn /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif), connects/disconnects really easily, and can hook up to any standard, category I 3ph. Oh, and it does a fantastic job.

Thanks for the input. Yes, Farm King/Allied are common blowers here in Minnesota. I will check them out. Do you have a bagger implement for fall leaves, etc?

I think the only way to collect debris with my set-up would be to drag a lawn sweeper behind the mower. The location of my property (very rural) allows me the option to not bother to pick up leaves. With the rear discharge mower, I can run them over until they're significantly mulched. If need be after that, backing up over them with the mower is a lot like using a leaf blower. I like to leave the grass clippings on the lawn. As long as they're not big and clumpy they do a fine a job of feeding the lawn.
