Just finished a 50 hr service w/ parts and fluids from Kubota this was at 64 hrs. Now great rpms until I put a load in front loader--then she stalls, coughs, sputters, sometimes dies. Fuel filter not cloudy, all filters replaced, fluids too from Kubota --could use some help, Thanx RJ

Stalls in what manner?
Moving.
Only using hydraulics.

when you say all filters replaced, did that include the air filters?

Does this only occur with a load on the loader? what about load on 3ph or pushing a load with the tractor?

More often than not she'll stall after some hydraulics. I'm currently removing snow-5-7 mins. worth of movement -shaving off layers of snow, using hydraulics both front loader and forward and backward motion--then sputter, choke, die--this after new load of diesel. Changed the primary air filter--wasn't sure of the secondary.

I changed the larger of the two(primary) i think--the innards are to be changed as well? Usually stalls after 5-10 mins worth of front loader (light loads) sputters, coughs, chokes, and dies--this after draining the tank and reload of fresh diesel. Is it possible to hav etoo much hyd. fluid in the machine. I changed it according to the specs and seems like the dip stick was over the full mark--thanks

Ok the machine will run for 5-10min then sputter and die.
You most likely have a intake or fuel problem, check for obstruction in intake.

It can't be a coincidence that this started after you did the service. Could it be sucking air into the fuel system because something is loose? Besides the obvious of tightening the fuel filter, did you disconnect any lines, maybe leave a connector loose? Did you bring it inside where it's warm to work on it and some snow or ice melted, maybe got in the fuel tank or fuel system? Did you fill the tank while you had it inside and maybe used some fuel that had water in it? I'd think about everything you changed or touched while you were servicing it.

Thanks for the input--will try to drain the fuel filter and check the "O" rings. Thx again RJ

Replaced both "O" rings in the fuel filter, emptied the fuel filter, recleaned secondary air filter. Let the machine sit for 10-15 min. restart--initial cloud of black smoke--idled for 5-6 min-revved up nice then coughed , sputtered and regained normal idle (sort of) after I slowed the idle speed. Seems like after it heat up something expands and affects the intake--Open to suggestions!
