You may be better off just finding a bigger monitor at some place like HH Gregg or someplace like that. A lot of times you can find a 17" for around $99 or so. By the time you pay $30 or $40 on Ebay and then have to pay shipping you are at possibly $70 or so and you still have a monitor that you aren't sure how old it is and how long it will work - just my $.02 worth.
I don't like to call my self a "gewrew", but I guess I can find my way around them. I'm a computer programmer by trade but I also do consulting on the side. I've done everything from mainframe programming w/ COBOL and CICS, Network Design, Installation, & Administration including interfacing w/ tanning beds, PC Support w/ building PCs hardware wise and establing a software build that will work consistently in a complex environment. Currently I'm working on a new Claims system for Grange Insurance that will integrate with a document imaging system, automatic fax system, and the mainframe computer. This will be spread out eventually to 9 or 10 states. Sure can be a challenge sometimes to make sure all of the communication links are working properly.
