Sounds to be directional control valve...when a hydraulically operated implement is connected to the tractor.

That could be your speed set device...which will allow operating your tractor efficiency also comfort.
.....Speed set device can not be set at high range....

Iam not sure if the 80's B7100 are the same as mid 90's B7100 setup.

This I know,if the arrow doesn't point towards rear the 3pth will not raise.

Hope the attachments help...kinda in a hurry.

May I suggest that you activate/move that valve from time to time; else, it may freeze up and be subject to breakage should you need to force it open at some point in the future.
