B7100 Rear Axle Hex Bolt Size??

I finally bought the new style rear hubs for my B7100DT from Messicks. I should get them today or tomorrow.

The part # number has changed to: H6640-17300.

I had a choice between Kubota parts for $163 ea or aftermarket for $110 ea.

I bought the aftermarket ones. Parts guy said no one had problems with them.

Does anyone have a picture of the new style hub, PN H6640-17300?
I've got the old style pull-strap split-clamp bolt-with-spring style that are worn and wobbly. I'm looking for ways to tighten 'em up or replace/modify with a better design.

i have found a company that sells hubs for the rear of my B7100. i have them on my tractor right now and they seem to be working just fine. these are heavy duty compared to the originals, they weigh 35 lbs per pair. i have a contact e-mail for them, jakeley@yahoo.com .

I too am having the same problem. A 1994 B7100. Took off this morning to do custom mowing all day. Always check the pins every morning. They were both in place today. Went to come home from last job, walked up behind tractor and notices the left wheel was as far in as it could go. Looked at the pin and it was gone. Looked at the right one and it was gone also. I was shocked. I had to drive home a mile with no pins in the hubs. PTL I didn't have any problems but am fed up with this. Thats the 3rd pin I've replaces with Grade 8 bots on the left side. The first one to break on RH. I'm glad to hear about the source of Messicks for $110. Also sick of hearing the wheels wobble on hill sides. Thanks for the talk and feed back on the problem.
