Hi. I was looking to kill some time so decided to change my hazard flashers to LED on my '94 B7100. Why? 'cause I like LEDs - no rational reason behind it. It was a cold winter day and I wanted to spend some money. I think I did it the hard way too. I subsequently found that you can buy some LED bulbs that will fit into the auto sockets and may be good. Oh, and I think the incandescent bulbs are brighter anyway. So with all those things going for it, here is what did:

Bought some LED marker lights from Meier:

and then cut them down into this shape to fit the lens:

I took the lamp apart:

and then reusing the mounting bolt with the hole in the middle (important part, don't let that one get away..) wired it all together:

and put it all back together:

It lights up ok, doesn't get hot, and sucks almost zero from the dynamo. Most importantly, I can tuck my thumbs under my armpits, rock back on my heels, and say "yup, did that".

thanks.

Nice conversion! I may be doing similar on our B5100.

Great work! My tractor does not have the tail light or flashers from the factory. The flasher switch location in the dash still had a factory grommet plug in it. I am curious to see if there are any motorcycle flashers [LED] on the market that I could make work on mine. My project is in slow mode right now. I just get a moment here an there to work on it. Will get some pictures soon.
