i have a 1983 b7100. the loader and 3PT linkage seem to work ok but i have just bought a log splitter and it is strugling to split any wood.
Is there a presure adjustment at all?
Any help would be apreciated.
Thanks

It is possible to adjust your tractor hydraulic pressure ... BUT before you make any changes, it would be a great idea to check your existing pressure.
Your problem with the splitter could be cylinder size... You need to start with knowing your delivery pressure... KennyV

You need to get the spec for your tractor for the correct pressure, and yes it is shim adjusted at the relief valve for the pump. KennyV.
Someone may come on with the correct pressure setting for the B7100....

Whats the recommended flow rate for your splitter as compared to what the B7100 will put out?:D

Keep in mind you have only about a 3 gpm flow on a B7100
