Well in my case, it's the same cause and a little different. I can see where the issue above happened, the V notch slipped off, and wore into the washer holding the bearing on, in the past, but the spring is completely missing, so there's no contact now.
I have a Kubota dealership about 4 miles away, so will head down there and see if they have the parts. Will be nice to have this working again, or at least better than it is now.
