Have an opportunity to pick up a B7000. The owner says when you push in the clutch it won't disengage. He was just using it and supposedly didn't have any issues. I've read about an adjustment cable, just wondering if anyone has any insight if this could be a nightmare?

He said he wants $3000 and the tractor has a FEL...I'm thinking $2500 it's worth the hassle. Any thoughts?

I did not see a listing for a B7000 on Kubota's site. May be a B7100 or other in the 7000 series tractor. Just about all clutch repairs require that tractor be split. Maybe a cable replacement will not require that.

The 7000 is a grey market tractor, very simular to a 7001. You have to do a bit of cross referencing on parts to get what you need but the market price on these tractors is about 1/2 of the "Standard" tractors. I think I'm going to take a chance on it...

If you have the skills to split the tractor and replace the clutch (if that turns out to be necessary), might be a decnt deal...
Personally, I wouldn't buy it...but it is your money.

Have you had a bad experience with those tractors? Seems like the asking price is about 1/2 compared to anything else with a FEL...

If you were asking me...I don't buy grey market tractors.
$2500 is cheap for a tractor...but not if it's setting outside broken down and you can't get parts.
BUT!! It is your money...you're an adult and you do what you want to do!

Many Gray tractors have CCW rotating PTO. Check it out if you need to run a PTO driven attachment.
