Hi,
I am a new B6100 Kubota owner. I am wondering if someone could tell me where the hydralic hoses attach to the tractor. I
have the KUDF110 front blade but not the hoses.
Thanks,
Sony

Sony,

On my 1978 Kubota B6100 DT, the hydraulic system for the Front End Loader is separate from the hydraulic system that runs the 3 point hitch.

The FEL's hydraulic pump runs off of the front PTO shaft and the hydraulic reservoir is in the stanchion post for the FEL where the Selector Control Valve is.

Unless your B6100 is a hydraulic tranny model as opposed to the gear tranny like mine, I'd suspect there would need to be a separate hydraulic system (pump/reservoir/SCV) for the front blade system.

I don't recall if the B6100 came in a hydro model. I'll check my owner's manual tonight.

Best of luck

I have seen it done with a 'splitter block' (I don't know what this is really called) that looks like it was brazed into the line that goes from the hydraulic pump to the back of the tractor. For it to work right you would need a valve that could relieve itself. (built-in pressure relief, not to be confused with open-center or closed center). I don't know for sure which valve you need, there are quite a few to choose from. You need to get all this right or you will get to find out how much a hydraulic pump costs. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Indeed the B6100 came in a HST model, as I have one. I haven't hooked anything to the hydraulics yet, though plan on building a small dump trailer using tractor hydraulics, incorporating the 3ph lever and valve under the seat. As my 6100 is 2wd, a FEL is not going to happen.
I've read about using the block on the forward right side for hydraulic power, but never seen it done or tried it myself.

On my B7100 hst the loader hydraulics work off the block on the right hand side. Chances are a 6100 hst would be the same. If wanted I could scan a picture from the manual.

Scaned the manual picture but the results are not really usable. The manual quality leaves a little to be desired.

I also have a b6100E which is a 2wd gear model. Your in luck because i just figured out how to instal my hydyaulic blade this morning i would love to share the details with you. It took me a while to figure out how it all works because this used to be my grandfathers tractor and i'm reletively new to this..only 19...but i love this kind of stuff. Anyways it does use a splitter block...on the right hand side of the tractor theres a box that is connect to the hydraulic lines. THats your input hose. Then theres an aluminum piece that screws into the fill up port for your hydraulic/gear oil. Your return hose screws into there. now this is the only way i could get it to work but u have too have the pto lever in the up position to get the blade to move. Anyways hope this help...would love to trade tips with any of you other b6100 owners
