Guys,

I know that the B3350 comes with larger, wider R4 tires than the B2650. My question is, are all the other tire options such as the R1 also larger on the B3350?

I am also curious to know what the cost is to upgrade to these larger tires when purchasing a new B2650. I have seen multiple references to people opting for the larger R4s at the time of purchase but I haven稚 seen a price for the R1. Thanks!

The R1's are the same for both B2650 and B3350 according to the info I have.

Front 7-12 R1 B-Stone Farm Service Lug BR8707A
Rear 12.4-16 R1 F-Stone TracFild&Rd TT ABR9382

The R-4's are also the same, but the B3350 has a second option for R4's where the tires are larger.

As always please confirm before purchasing.

Tire options and sizes are the same for the B3350 as for the B2650.

Optional oversized R-4 tires are available for both models.

Be advised that the oversized R-4 tires preclude the use of tire chains, interfere with some/all (?) MMMs, increase turning radius due to mandatory steering stops, increase gearing, and increase weight, especially if loaded.

I investigated the oversized R-4 tires when I bought my B3350 but declined due to the many disadvantages. IIRC, the added cost was around $500.

Correct. The standard B3350 and the B2650 have all the same tire and wheel sizes.

The B3350SU has the option for the larger wheels and tires. They will also fit the B2650, but you can not use the mid mounted mower with them because the larger 41" tall tire is trying to occupy the same physical space as the deck wheels. You would have to plasma off the deck wheel brackets and move them with custom made brackets if you were so inclined.

The standard tire is right around 37" tall and the larger SU tire is around 40" tall.
You give up around 7% of the gearing torque multiplication from the increased tire size.

Another option to consider it the newly available R14-T tires.

I think my dealer told me they don't make the R14T tires in the right size yet for the B2650, but maybe it was bad info.

Anyone have a chance to try them yet? I was interested in them but saw a set at the dealer and decided I think I'd rather just go with the R4s. Still, would be interested in hearing about experiences with them.

I saw a small Kubota CUT at the Louisville Farm and Machinery show with R14-T tires in February. IIRC, it was a 2650, but I'm not certain.

But is that only for the R4 tire as was mentioned earlier?

Yes. As I said.... They all share the same exact wheels and tires side from the option added for the 3350SU.

I assumed that you at least took the time and looked at the build my Kubota site and saw the tire options for the B2650, B3350 and B3350SU... You know.... Since your looking at sounding $20,000-$35,000 on this thing. Had you done that in the start, you would have found this to all be self revealing.

Ever wonder why there are never mentioned of larger Ag or turfs on the B2650? Never ever? Spoiler..... Because there aren't any.

Sorry, I was not aware of you or your build site until you pointed it out. I didn't mean to frustrate you or anyone else when I asked the question. I have seen threads where people have purchased larger, wider replacement AG tires for other tractors (L if I recall correctly) so its not unreasonable to look for a dealer option for a new machine.
