Hello all. I've been reading and searching on here quite a bit and seem to have concluded that a tractor in the 30hp area will suite my needs. I wasn't really intending to buy until next year but I stumbled across a dealer that is advertising a new B3300SU as having a retail price of about $19,600 and is listing it for sale for $16,700. The retail number seems on par with what I come up with on the Kubota website so is that 16.7K a decent price? It seems like it to me but I'm not really sure what to expect. The other part that is enticing me is they're listing it as a 2012 so I imagine it would still be tier3? Looking around on here it seems you can't really get a build date directly from the SN on a Kubota so is there something else I can look for, mainly to verify tier 3 or 4?

I was quoted $17k for a B3300SU in spring of 2012. Your price sounds like a pretty good one.

I paid $17,200 in February 2012. I have been very happy with it.

In terms of buying: We are in a strange period as tractors now coming off assembly lines for sale in USA must be compliant with EPA Tier IV emissions strictures. There are a few Tier III compliant tractors in inventory, not many. The Tier iV tractors are generally 20% higher in price. So if this is the tractor you want, buy now.

I am pretty sure there are no Tier IV B3300SU tractors on U.S. shores yet. As Tier IV compliant tractors are much more expensive, the $16,700 price you were quoted is a strong indication it is Tier III compliant.

Are you talking tractor and FEL? Last month I got a quote on a B3300SU of $15000 tractor only here in NB Canada

Yes. Tractor, FEL with chain grab hooks, one optional hydraulic remote at rear and R4 industrial tires for $17,200.

A year ago I purchased a 2011 B3300SU with BH77 backhoe, FEL & Loflin forks. It had 19.8 hours in it when I took delivery of it. $22500 delivered to my door from Pennsylvania to NH.

I love my B3300!!

I think that is a good price. The best my dealer would do is $17,200 cash. I'm still in the market since that is too much for me. I found a "used" 2012 with 12 hours on it with FEL and blade that I'm hoping to pick up this weekend. It is advertised as a "2012 B3300SU-HD." I don't know what the HD is supposed to stand for though.
