I am curious about something on my B3200. The rear wheel lugs are all large bolts that are screwed into a threaded hub, except 2 opposing ones on each wheel. These are bolts that come through the hub and rim with a nut on them. What is the reason for this?

To make it easier to put the tires on. If there wern't at least two studs, lining up the bolts would be a major pain.

So why not make them all studs, why are two of them bolts?

The wheel does not have a mounting disc with tapered lug nut hole (it is a flat disc and in doing so that the rim and hub will center true at all times when the tire and rim are mounted.

Wheel studs are ment for wheels that have dished lug nut holes for tapered lug nuts (for an automobile for example)requiring high torque values and it is easier to torque the wheel bolts and set them with blue Loctite which allows them to come off when you want them to come off rather than when they want to leave the axle hub.
