B3200 headlight busted by semi blind operator, need a replacement lens.

this weekend I managed to stab my left headlight lens cover in the eye with a limb. I broke just the clear lens cover.

I looked at Messicks but all they show is the whole headlight assembly package for $217. I called them this morning and that's all they had.

The lens is marked Knights light BL11-249L but I can't find a source to that company that supplies the lens cover. Probably isn't even in the US despite being marked with English writing.

I really really hate the idea of spending $217 to replace a lot of stuff that isn't broken for a simple lens cover. My google searches shows one other guy looking for a right lens a year ago.

The lights are built as a single unit and I believe the lens is glued to the reflector. I doubt you will find just a replacement lens. Sorry!

Yup, glued and "sealed" I just had to bite the bullet after a year of looking for used or cheap.

While finding a replacement, you should put a patch over the broken lens, so that your tractor looks like a pirate! Arrrrrr

I found that out kuboman and sbatzold last night, I had a moment to take the assembly into the shop and found it was well glued in with that black tar like sealer. I tried to loosen it to pop it out of the lock tabs but knowing I likely wouldn't find a lens replacement i just stopped. bit the bullet, paid my stupid tax and got on Messicks and ordered a few things.


Heck I couldn't even put it all together like humpty dumpty with packing tape as I'm missing a piece now.

Still it's not a $217 assembly. Nice profit margin they have.
