B3030: Timber cutting pics

Took a couple of happy snaps of a tree branch I was clearing for a client and I happened to catch my B3030. Though you guys might appreciate them more than the client :laughing:

Most of the pics are of the tree branch, a 70-80 year old cypress (rough guess). The trunk logs were too heavy to lift by hand, no issues with the loader though =]

64 hours on the clock now, its an amazing machine. When I get on my summer break I'll photography my shed full of 'botas properly =]

I normally use a 5ft brush hog as a counterweight but was only expecting to use the bucket to carry the saw+oil+fuel so I left it off

What wild and gangly looking trees, I like them. A good job for your new tractor :thumbsup:

Yeah the person I'm clearing it for bought the land about 6 months ago, since then the only maintenance on the land/trees was to bulldoze the fallen limbs into a giant pile and burn the lot. So the trees have been left pretty much unchecked for the past 100 or so years so they're quite impressive. Albeit a PITA to clean up =P

In other news, Just finished 2 of 3 finals so I'll be back down there in a few days so more photos will be coming =]

Good job, like the color of the saw, but can't tell which one you have, 346XP would be a good match for your tractor, is that what it is?

Your loader looks very cool. I like the self leveling feature. Is that a 4 in 1 bucket? I like my B3030, too. 370 hrs and nothing to complain about. Very impressive machine. Good luck!

Electric over hydraulic 4in1 bucket. The FEL is all Australian made, apparently couldn't get a kubota FEL for cheaper. Not than I'm complaining. It's a solid loader. And a good bucket

Not 100% sure on the saw. I think it's a 372xp or similar. I'll find out soon. It's a beast though :-D
