How many hours did you accumulate on the hour meter with all that work?? Thats giving the Orange guy a workout. Thats what thery're meant to do. If you bought another would you go bigger???

158 hours on the meter, the machine is 14 months old. I do miss my B7500/302 fel. If i had to do over i would stay with the 3030. My next tractor will be a tough choice, i will not be trading in the 3030, i dont know if it will be a B7610 or a grand L, I really need all 3. I also need to stay married sooooo, time will tell :D

Thats really not a whole bunch of hours for what you did with the machine. Just tell the wife she wouldn't have all the things yous' have if it wasn't for your tractor........Let me know how you make out!!!!

I agree with you john, lots of work in few hours. I never should have traded in my B7500, that was a huge mistake. I had a sweet little march gig in hull ma. (waterfront) We would scoop up all the sand from winter storms and dump it over the seawall, back onto the beach, just enough room to work a 75. You could never operate the 3030 on these jobs, its just too tight! If i had held onto the 75, when i paid off the 3030, my last hurdle would be the big boy. With all 3 machines, we could cover the full spectrum of tractor service with the right size machine for the right job! The B3030 is IMHO the proper size machine to handle, small medium and large jobs, however it's the same old story, large jobs take a long time to bang out as do small ones when you are trying to get in & out without hitting anything! If there was one thing i could tell members here (tbn) it would be to buy the right size machine the first time, take your time & be sure. It cost you a lot of money to buy the wrong machine! I Don't like to see people make the same mistakes some of us around here did!

All true till you see the need for the little machine you traded in just a few months prior.
I like you wish I'd never gotten rid of my B7500, I want another, I just can't make my mind up on HST or gear..oh well I can't afford it now anyway:)

The dealer i purchased my B3030 from told me they sold tons of B7500s and rarely had serious problems. He was very happy to take ours in trade with a 302fel,700 hours and a heated curtis cab!

Lawn King: Question... Have you ever "picked up" a "measured amount of weight" with the FEL to determine just how much it CAN lift??

I read the loader book and its confusing to say the least!!! And I dont have any real idea just what the FEL "can" lift...weight-wise

I cant say i have actual numbers. On several jobs i have lifted heaping buckets of soaking wet topsoil and wet stonedust. I would say that heavy wet stuff was 1000 # per bucket.
