I just traded my B3030 for a Grand L 3240HST today so I have a bunch of brand new B3030 filters.

I am located in Connecticut. If there are any Connecticut TBN members with a B3030, I will let the lot of filters go for $100.00 cash and carry. They are all brand new in boxes and over $130 replacement cost + tax if purchased at a dealer.

This is the list of filters and the parts price new.
Hydraulic Filter - HH660-36060 - $9.95 each x 2 = $19.90
Hydraulic Filter - HH670-37710 - $13.13 each x 2 = $26.26
Diesel Fuel Filter - 6A320-59930 - $9.79 each x 3 = $29.37
Oil Filter HH160-32093 $8.95 each x 3 = $26.85
Outer Air Filter 6C060-99410 - $28.75 x 1 = $28.75

Please PM me if interested.
Thanks,
Norm

Sorry, didn't save them for you

The ATI Tach-All setup is quite nice though. You may want to look into it for you B3030. It makes for quick implement swaps.

We normally swap out filters at trade, try asking your dealer.

Still available. I can't believe that no TBN members in CT or MA area have a B3030??? I am located in the Hartford CT area if anyone is interested.

I will throw them up on eBay if I don't get a response here.

I did the trade mainly for the better LA724 loader. When I originally purchased the B3030, I planned on doing some mowing with it. The B3030 is a decent finish mower due to the relative light weight. The mowing never panned out so I traded the mower back to the local Kubota dealer and had the WR Long 3rd function setup installed. I ended up using the FEL (with grapple, forks or bucket) 90% of the time that I was on the tractor. For FEL work, the Grand L's are hard to beat.

Having never owned a tractor (other than a garden tractor) prior to the B3030 purchase, I thought a cab with heat/air/radio would be nice to have. The reality is, it was very nice for plowing my driveway (and neighbors driveways) in the winter months but the rest of the year it was more of a pain in the but. I was constantly getting in and out of the cab while working and I always worried about the cab windows getting broken while working in the woods. I also worried about breaking cab windows during transport while it was on a trailer.

If I was mowing or rough cutting large areas of open space in the heat of summer or plowing/blowing miles of road/driveway in the winter the cab would have been nice. For what I use my tractor for, there was no real advantage having the cab. The Grand L cab height is also to high to fit in my current tractor storage garage so that would have been an issue to if I went that route. The open station Grand L's come with a folding ROPS and fits in my 7 foot garage door perfectly ;)

That's one of the reasons why I did not get the cab version. I also preferred the Kubota BH75 hoe for various reasons, and would not have been able to use it on the cab model - would have had to go with the Woods unit. I also haven't particulary enjoyed climbing in and out of the cab on some larger rentals I've run.

The only time I start considering a cab is in the frigid winter months. The option is to bundle up on the open station, or sit in a heated cab with minimal layers on. Some of the aftermarket cabs allow you to take off the doors rather easily, and open up the rear and side windows to get good summer ventilation, and make getting on and off the machine a little easier. Summer AC isn't really needed up here, unless I'm baking inside a large glass enclosure. And all the ones I've looked at will work with my BH75 hoe.

But I keep going back to the cabs I've used and didn't like. Then there's you, Amigauser, going from a cabbed machine to an open station machine, for reasons similar to mine. Guess maybe a nice canopy should be in order, and I should stay away from the cab, as I had originally planned.

Cabs sure look cool, though. :D

Yes, cabs are cool :D It was definately nice having the cab in the winter months. Like I stated, they do have there place. I may pick up an RTV at some point for plowing and that may get a cab. Time will tell.
