B2910 workshow manual

I went to get the workshop manual for a 2910 today and was given one titled "B2710". I asked and was told they are the same. Doesn't sound right to me.

This one is dated Feb '99 and the top header of each page says "B2710 WSM, 12270"

Anyone bought a 2910 workshop manual and can you tell me the publication date and page header? I think I got an old manual from before the 2910 was released.

Peter, sounds like you have the same manual I got last Fall for my B2710. And while the B2710 and B2910 are much alike, there are some differences. I don't know whether manuals are available for the B2910, but would sure expect them to be. By the way, if you didn't get a parts manual also, you really need that to go with the shop manual.

I was told there is no parts manual. That further contributes to my suspicion.

It's really frustrating dealing with people (dealers) who don't know what they are doing. You would expect the big ones to have their act together but instead they all seem like they doing everything for the first time.

I ordered my manuals from Carver (both shop manual and parts manual). You might want to check with them and see whether they have the right ones.

I recently purchased a Workshop Manual for my 2910 from Carver Equip. The cover is labeled: WSM Workshop Manual, Tractor B2410, B2710, B2910 and is dated February 2000. It has additional sections/ pages to address those issues specific to the 2910. It was $102 (including shipping). I requested a shop manual from my dealer and I was given one for the 2710 and told it was also for the 2910 as they were so similar. I refused to accept it, and Carver Equip. informed me of the correct manual. I was told they just recently came to print. I also purchased a Parts Manual labeled: Illustrated Parts List Kubota B2710HSD and B2910HSD. It is dated March 2000. Hope this helps.

That's abig help, thanks. One other question since you have the correct manuals. On the back cover in the lower right hand corner (at least on the one I have is a "Code No. xxxxxxx" What are the code numbers for the two manuals that you have?
