B2910 Cruise Control??

Has anyone figured out how to adjust the b2910 cruise control yet? I was out spraying the other day and it would've been very nice to have working again. I'm sure there's some adjustment on it somewhere but I haven't been able to find it. (I did tighten the spring tension but that didn't help)

Ok, after reading some other posts on this board I decided to go trouble shoot this problem and it turned out amazingly simple. What is happening (on my machine at least) is that there is a spring that applys tension to my control lever (for the cruise). If you're looking up from the bottom this is a spring that runs parallel to the rear axle and it has a nut and a jam nut on one end and o the other end it connects to a "lever". (not the control lever). On my machine this "lever" had gotten hung up on a molded piece of metal on the side of the frame and so it wasn't putting pressure on the set of rubber pads/plates that make the cruise work. I popped if loose from where it was hung up VOILA the cruise now functions perfectly.

FWIW I think I can now fix it easily without popping off the cover in front of the seat. I think it'll just be a matter of crawling underneath and freeing up the lever if it gets stuck again.

Just to document how it was "failing". THe lever would still cause the pedal to move down, it would just never "hold" in one place.
