Anyone else have this tractor with jerky transmission? Mine jerks real bad in 3rd gear, very noticeably in 2nd gear and very minor in 1st gear. Very hard to do loader when you get a sudden jerk or lurch. Haven't had much luck with the dealer. He has checked a few things out and brought it back home still jerking. Have been other issues with this one also. Bucket would not attach like it should, loader does not lower level. Bucket was replaced and fixed that issue. Dealer loosened bolts and let loader settle and retightened, but still don't raise or lower level. Maybe not a big issue with loader, but my last 2 Kubotas did not have that problem and certainly not a jerky transmission. Will probably be my last Kubota unless these issues resolved. Just wondered if anyone else had jerky transmission on one. HJT

I had the same issue with my loader. After several trips to the dealer and the kubota rep coming out. They finally determined it was the cross piece between the loader arms was welded wrong at the factory. They replaced the loader arms and it corrected the problem.

I don't have any issues with the hst however I don't think you should be using high gear for loader work. I only use high for road transport.

My B3200 and now my 2650 will "jerk" at low speed. It feels like 4 wheel drive is engaging. I believe this happens when in 4wd. When I am trying to inch closer to an implement to hook up, or starting to move on an incline.
I don't know what it is, but it is something I have to watch for, and be prepared for.

Just reread my post and sounded like I didn't get help from dealer. That is not the case. Just meant that the dealer hasn't been able to get it fixed yet. The dealer has been helpful and worked with me, but some of the issues are still unresolved. Dealer is getting the area service rep involved now and hopefully get things fixed.

Good clarification on your dealer. I have had two Kubota's and have been fortunate not having any issues as you have described. It sounds like you are getting cooperation and help from your dealer which is great.

My suggestion is to allow time and continued efforts to resolve all the issues. Unless I overlooked it, maybe the dealer or yourself needs to get a regional rep involved. Maybe ask the dealer if he is aware of any service bulletins on this particular issue.
Having said this I would be frustrated too.

Good luck in your efforts.

My B2650HSDC will 'lurch' at low speed when cold but it disappears once the transmission warms up. It has not had it's 1st HST fluid change yet...only at about 150 hours.

I just read your post and that is exactly what my b2650 did. My dealer did just what your dealer did with no good results. I had just begun to accept the situation when my tractor developed a rattling sound in the PTO when operating. My dealer split the tractor and replaced the PTO clutch which did not fix the problem. After 45 days in the shop and a fair bit of complaining by myself they gave me a new tractor. They switched over my equipment and the new one is very smooth on the hydrostatic operation , totally unlike the first one and the original loader fits on this tractor perfectly and is totally level unlike the first tractor. The first tractor was a 2014 model which I received in April of 2015 , the new tractor is a 2015 model with a serial number 1000 numbers greater than the first tractor. I am of the opinion that my first tractor had some quality control issues from the factory which appeared to be rectified in the newer model. I am so happy that I did not settle for the first tractor which in my opinion appears to be a defective product. Would love to hear from any others that have noticed these problems.

Just thought I would add that my dealer and my service manager were very good with these problems but were unable to resolve them. Their frustration level at not being able to resolve the problems and mine were the same. In the end my dealer stood behind me and offered to refund my money or replace the tractor at no cost to me, but a lot of time and frustration on both our parts

Hello, did you ever get a resolution to your hydro static transmission that was jerky? I also have a B2650 that does this and it drives me nuts. I have had it to the dealer (October 2017) and they say it acts like all the other B2650's they have on the lot. Or at least one that they compared it to. They called Kubota technical support and they had no information for them. Like no one had ever complained about this issue. I feel like Kubota is hiding the fact they have ever had a complaint on this just telling me this jump or jerk in motion is normal. They are telling me to put it in low range every time I get close to something and don't want to risk crashing into it. My tractor does exactly like yours, in high range it is jumpy every single time. Medium range it jumps about half the time and in low range it's not very noticeable due to the heavy gear reduction. It's still there, just not as pronounced. My tractor is 2 years old and the warranty is just about to run out. It only has 62 hours on it. Does anyone have any updated information on this? Is there a fix? Do I have to get rid of this thing? I just don't think I'll ever be happy with it. Crashing into my brand new dump trailer and having a hard time swapping out implements because it's so jumpy is maddening. Any help with this would be MUCH appreciated!
