B2650 what RPM when mowing?

Mine is a HST and using a belly mower what RPM should you mow at? I've been at 2,300-2,500 if a little more power is needed.

That's what Kubota recommends IIRC....2500 rpm. That's what I use...2400-2500. You can slow down your forward speed if in deeper grass.

My BX2200 does not have a tach. Run it full out when mowing with the MMM.

On my B2910, with the brush hog, I run it at the rpm that equates to 540 pto rpm.

I think this is pretty standard operation...

I run 2200 to 2300 on my b2650 it run and cut great

I set mine at whatever rpm it takes to spin the back pto 540 rpm. I think it's about 2400 rpm. I'm not sure what the front pto speed is when the back is 540 but the torque should be the same. You can punch that rubber button to shift b/w engine rpm and pto rpm.
