Sat on my tractor and noticed a little play. This is not play in the steering, it the shaft feels wobbly. Can anyone suggest what might be loose, and how to access?. Thanks for looking.

Dealer answered before I got any replies here. E-mailed @9PM and got a repsonse next day before 9AM. So here it is a shameless plug for - White Farm supply. This is not the first time Art has been there, so anyone in his area looking for a responsive dealer should consider giving him their business. Art is also a long time contributor here username "art".
Below is his response for anyone who may be interested, note I believe he is dead on with the fact I need to change my habits....

I believe that what has happened there is like a seal meant to be used like a bearing in the top of the steering column has either come out of the shaft or the rubber has failed. The steering wheel would have to be removed to replace it.
To stop this type of thing from happening we have to change habits. This normally happens from using the steering wheel to pull ourselves up getting on to the tractor.
We can get the part or what ever you need just let me know. It's good to here from you!!!!! I hope all has been well for you. Art
