Putting together a 2630 or 3030, what is the general thought , is the factory loader a better option than a Woods or Koyker, how do they price compare. Financing aside of course

Factory is usually a better match to the tractor's abilities. Often the aftermarket loaders will spec better than the factory, but you have to look at the rated pressure (often higher than the tractor will put out) which means you are probably near the factory specs anyway.

Savings depends on the dealer - here in NE, most dealers use the factory loaders. If a dealer does a lot of business with woods loaders, they can probably set you for a little less money.

The LA403 is plenty strong for the "small midsize compact" or "large small compact" frame of the B2630/B3030. It attaches / detaches in <3 minutes as well. Hard to go wrong. You may want to add the ATI skid steer quick attach if you are planning a grapple or forks.

I totally recommend the manufacturer of the tractor and loader be the same. I've seen to many mismatches of equipment that later causes a failure and I don't like to be pitted between customer and manufacturer in a warrantee war. Most short line equipement will be less money then the tractor manufacturer to the dealer.

I went for the factory loader BUT the Woods loader is made heavier and will lift more..which for my purposes WASNT any advantage. I use a ballast box as compared to loaded tires and lifting MORE than the stated capacity of the factory loader COULD HAVE gotten me into trouble at some point.

The Kubota loader is a "little bit" more $$ than the Woods...but not enough to fret over.

With a larger tractor..Id have gone with the Woods...
