B2630/3030 Pat's Easy Change

I own the PECS for my B3030. Love 'em. Won't be without them again.

Personally, I find it much easier to attach implements with the PECS than with the stock sliders that originally came on the tractor. I'd estimate it takes me about 1/3 the time to hook up an implement with the PECS as it did with the stock arms. Plus, I don't have to wrestle with the implements so much anymore. I don't know, maybe I was doing something wrong with the stock sliders . I can change implements all afternoon with the PECS and not be sore all over the next day like I used to get.

Anyhow, satisfied customer here.

Here's a side-by-side comparison of them. PECS on left, stock on right.

My biggest concern with the pat's type link ends is the elimination of the ball ends and the always straight contact they provide the pins. Seems like only one width between lower impliment pins would be straight in the fixed angle slot cut in the pat's type connection. Anyone else have any input on this? Maybe I am making a mountain out of a molehill.

Thanks,
Rob

I used Pats on my last tractor, and liked them very much. The lack of a swivel ball didn't seem to matter much in any of the things I did. I never experience and binding or problems with alignment due to the lack of a swivel ball. I think the ball ends on the extension arms are very easy to hook up, but I think Pat's are even easier based on my experience.

I currently have the B3030 3pt hitch with extension arms. When I looked at it, I concluded that my "regular" Pats from the old tractor wouldn't fit so easily. Since nspec got them to work so I need to go revisit that and see what I was missing the first time I looked at it.

I also liked the pictures of the ones that replace the extension arms. I have never seen them but they look really nice to me.
Thanks
Scott

The regular Pat's system also looked to me like it wouldn't work. I called them, and they informed me they made a version for the B series tractors where they moved the mounting hole back so it would indeed fit. It really fits slick. Took all of 10 minutes to set up. Really quite easy.

Those replacement slide ins look really nice. I propbably would have gotten them. The pics on their website show what looks to be a prototype and as I said before, it looks kind of goofy. I'd love to see pics of that slide in unit installed on your tractor.

Looks like these wouldn't work well with T-N-T (or at least the tilt part)??
