B2620 and 6 ft KK Tiller

Anyone tried a KK 6 Ft Tiller on the B 2620?

Not sure what they weigh or how much HP they take to run well..

Friend has access to one. Just wondering if I can run it / lift it with the b2620..

I think that the B2620 would be too light for ground engaging a 6 ft tiller. I would think a 4 or 5 foot tiller would be manageable.

I have found my B7800's 30 HP is more HP then the weight can use and traction suffers. I now use my 450lb box blade on the back when skidding logs out of my forest and it works much better then when I had a just a light carryall on the back.

The 2620 brochure shows a tiller (landpride) that looks like a 6 footer being used behind a b2X20. My experience with tillers is it has more to do with ground conditions than HP or even weight whether they are effective. In soft rock free light soil I have no doubt a B2620 can run a 6 foot tiller. in my rock hard and rock studed clay virgin soil it'd be a wild ride.

I guess today I answered my own question.

The 2620 lifts a 470 lb 5 footer.. Guess it's based on the Land Pride model that Kubota markets.

The 6 Ft KK 5 ft weighs 600lb and the 6 ft weighs 690 lbs..


The KK was an available borrowed unit.. Guess I will just rent the Land Pride unit from the dealer for 50.00 a weekend.
