Buying Advice B2601 questions and availability

If you know of any dealers in New Hampshire - or the New England area that have a B2601 in stock - I'd really appreciate that info. I have a friend who is really interested in the tractor but he'd like to see one in the flesh before putting an order in.

Norfolk in Burrillville, RI had one coming in "any day" about 3+ weeks ago....I will check for the NH dealer I spoke with see if I wrote down which one it was. If you find a great deal on a very lightly used 2620 send it my way! Since I got my bonus check the market has been completely dead.

I think it was MB Tractor in Plaistow that had the 2601 in stock (this was a couple weeks ago)

Thanks for the update. I think he'd possibly be willing to travel just to see one - so pretty much anywhere in New England or even New York - it would be good to know if a dealer has one.

Per my dealer in IN, they haven't shipped any yet, I ordered my B2301 in Jan. He has it listed on his order as sold and said it should ship first of April.

Not sure yet I keep adding things. Tractor loader with ssqa, 3rd function, 60" 4 in 1 bucket, 2 remotes on rear and backhoe with 12" bucket and thumb and pallet forks. I think I will be somewhere around $28000

can anyone who has been on one of these tell me abuot the tilt steering wheel? I was initially interested thinking this was a big plus that it would tilt up more to be more out of the way for getting on and off the tractor...but based on the description in the brochure it sounds like the "up" position might actually be the same position as the 2x20, and the "down" position might just be lower than that for "better driving experience"

btw, I had been asking barlow's about pricing on the 2601 but they havent had it. I noticed they just added it to their package builder web page...so anyone looking should probably look there.

Local dealer was at $18,740 for tractor and loader, $2,646 for the mid mount mower, and a $700 rebate for paying cash...so $20,593 Let me know if anyone beats this price

My dealer had one available but at only $1k less than the 2650, I ended up buying the 2650.

I hope to have my 2301 the end of the week they are still putting it together, had to wait on the rear remotes. I will post pictures when I get it.

My local dealer in Wrentham, MA has a 2601 on a pallet at his shop. I have seen nothing on display anywhere yet

I went to R&S in New Miford, CT to look at a B2650 and was told their location in Torrington, CT received a B2601 a couple weeks ago. Assuming they didn't sell it, it should be set up.

Just saw a b2601 on the dealers lot in Carver, MA. Just the machine, no implements. Parked right next to a B2650 with a loader and quick attach bucket. B2650 also has a Curtis cab. Kinda different but I like the idea of taking the cab off in summer though I have never taken my BX 2200 Curtis cab off in the summer. Looks like the 2650 cab would come off easier.
