B2325 Joystick control

   / B2325 Joystick control #11
Also, a reassembly tip. Put the cables back together with the joystick off the tractor and lying on a workbench, then put the cable ends on the valve.
Also beware, there is a detent on the joystick lock that is below the joystick lever. It has a small spring and small steel ball. These parts like to go flying during disassembly!
Great advise to to this at a workbench. I wish that I had!!!

While on the subject, what experiences has anyone had with the control cables for an LA403 loader (on a B3030 in this case)?
The joystick fails to return to center and the bucket keeps raising in the summer. The joystick (mostlikely the control cables) freeze up in the winter, which broke the slider where it connects to the pin. I fixed that, but probably not the root cause. It’s not my tractor, but I do work on it as needed.
I intended to see if the control cables were damaged, but it was put back into service before I could. Maybe they just need lubrication?
Thoughts??
