While torn down to replace the axle housing on my 2150, I decided to work on the loose steering. I replaced the worn rubber bushing on the steering wheel shaft, but still have a lot of left to right play before the pitman arm moves. There is a large adjustment screw with a lock nut on the steering shaft, but I think that is a relief valve screw/spring/poppet, which I'm assuming I shouldn't mess with. Does anyone know if there is an adjustment screw to tighten things up?

Thanks,
Kcarl

If the nut and set screw are on the side of the steering gearbox that is where you make your adjustment. Loosen the locknut and turn the screw untill it botoms out and back it off 1/4 turn and retighten the locknut. This should put you close.

the diagram indicates the nut and screw adjust a relief valve, which is a section above the gearbox.

thanks,
