B2150 Cooling

Hello, all.

New here. Having a bad time trying to get this posted. I hope I haven't screwed it up.

My B2150 HST 4x4 with power steering gets hot over about 30 minutes when operating a 60" PTO finish mower (or any other implement I have) at creeping speed. Always has.

Anyone else have this problem?? Any advice??

The first thing I would suggest would be make certain that the radiator is clean. Use compressed air to blow the cooling fins out real good. You may be surprised at how much material will get into those fins. Check the nose of the tractor to make sure that the air can get to the radiator also. Hope this helps. Lewis

Thanks for the input, Equipman.

I left out a lot of info because I had a time figuring out how to post.

I have cleaned the air cleaner, blown out the oil cooler and radiator fins with a pressure washer, replaced the pressure cap, and cleaned all of the air inlet holes in the hood sides.

I am about ready to take the radiator to a shop to have a larger core installed. What do you think of that idea?
