Does anyone know the proper (Best/easiet) way to adjust the brake pedal on a B2150?

Actually the parking lever. The brakes work OK when I step on the brakes, but when I set the brake lever to park it, it isn't applying enough pressure on the brake to keep in from rolling.

How can I adjust the linkage or whatever to use the brake lever?

Thanks. Tim

How much free play do the pedals have? Unlatch the brake pedals and take up the free play by turning the brake rod turnbuckles (hopefully they're not frozen solid). Make it about an inch of freeplay and you should be okay.

I have noticed in the last couple of weeks that my B2150 seems to have the same problem.

While parked on an incline with the HSD engaged but in the neutral position, the tractor creeps slowly with the parking brake engaged.

While parked on an incline with the HSD dis-engaged, the tractor creeps very fast with the parking brake engaged.

Since my B2150 is approaching 900 hours and most likely has never been adjusted then I guess that I can't complain.

Let me know if Kubuta Mechanics suggestion works for you.

I had the same problem with an L4310HST. On the left side the lower threaded rod snapped off in the turnbuckle. The threads were apparently rusted. The right side was no problem. I just called the dealer and the parts (about $25) are in.
