Book says front axle on B21 can be super UDT2 or 80 or 90 gear oil. I was planning to repair leaky 4n1 bucket cylinders soon, so was going to do the hydraulic filters and fluids as well.
I see no reason to use the outrageously expensive Super UDT2 in a plain old gear box, especially since one wheel seal may be a bit wet. Any reason to avoid the gear oil? Is 80w or 90w acceptable? I've not seen much straight 80 or 90 lately.
