B21 Clutch Issue!!!!!!

B21 1,100 hrs 2007. I'm the second owner purchased it with 600 or so hrs. Today while going up slight incline machine started screeching and grinding. Putting it in neutral the noise is not as bad, put the clutch down noise is much worse. Is there a way to diagnose that it's the clutch not the tranny? Forward and back pedal feels slightly funky but not sure if it's not because the clutch won't engage. Tractor will not move at all. Need help has its stuck on someone else's yard.

Make sure that the clutch pedal has some play, or the clutch will slip. Also, sometimes a clutch will shuck off the friction lining. Is there an access hole to take a peek at the clutch?

I would say the clutch had play since I always had to push it all the way down to change gears. It was pouring rain and it's stuck in the woods. Haven't been able to get under the machine yet.

Anyone know if there is a grease fitting for the throw out bearing on a B21?

Sounds like it might be the throw out bearing. I doubt that there is a grease fitting.

Not to me, as the OP says that the clutch is not engaging. Which means slipping. Unless the clutch throwout mechanism is really, really sticking.

B21 has a single-plate dry clutch and there is no grease fitting for the TO bearing.

On my B21, the clutch was destroyed by oil leaking from the engine main seal. You can
find my rebuild and others on TBN if you search for "B21 rebuild".
