Generally speaking Ditrworx, TBN members like to have a bit more detail - like what clunked or what was specifically happening when this unfortunate situation arose.
There is a wealth of knowledge here if the query is framed. For instance I have a
B21 and it has served me well, and like all mechanical things I listen to the sound of the machine to gauge its well being usually.
So for your case the front wheels are no longer moving in FWD, and you have a noise from the front axle, thus something is either loose (best case) or you have sheared a gear in the front axle (s).
There is a shield that covers the front axle shaft, which if loose will bang about but not impede the FWD, of course this is a simple fix.
If you have drive in one but not two sides then you can narrow this down to L/R if not in both then its the center gear and work back / forward from there,
Its not real difficult to raise the front end with the loader and start removing/isolating the issue then pullling the front end apart.
So a bit more info is appreciated
