B&S carb

Hi, dose anyone know what this tube is for on this 808883 23 R card , fuel seems to be leaking out.

new fuel pump but carburetor seems to run out of fuel, tank is 1/2 full

We are going to need a little more information to help you. What mower is this on and what engine make and model is this ?

Looks like where crankcase evacuation hose connects. I don't even know what a " 808883 23 R card " is much less why gas would leak from one.

It's a bowl vent. Looks to be a Vanguard. Float valve issue if you are lucky enough.
