I put over 7 hours on the tractor yesterday putting in our yard. Tractor works flawless. Just waiting on grass to grow now!




Thats why we built a 3 car garage. More room to store stuff. :thumbsup:

I have been kicking myself for fifteen years for not putting in a three car garage when we built and no way to expand now. I have a 21x24 building on the way, but a garage would have been so much nicer.

Sounds like a very fair price for the rental. Hopefully the wet weather will continue for you. How much seed did you use on your 3 acres?

The weather has sucked for me. We have gotten over 6 inches of rain which washed quite a bit of seed and topsoil away. I have to wait till everything dries up to fix all the damage. Forecast shows rain through the weekend too.

The place where I got my seed called for 675 pounds of seed. I ended up at 500 pounds using the seed drill. The extra 175 pounds will be used for repairs at this point.

I am so glad we decided on the three car garage. The two bays on the right are open to each other. There is a wall between those bays and the right bay. That way I can heat one side at a time depending what I'm doing. Plus keeps all of the "shop" stuff out of the way.

What type of seed did you use? I did about 6 of my acres in KY 31 two falls ago and it started okay in the fall and set roots through winter and was beautiful the following spring and has been since. Used about 550 # with a hand broadcast spreader and prepped and finished over with drag tine harrows I pull behind my Rokon because I don't have a tractor yet.

Sure could have used a machine like you did to make my life easier. Especially on the hills.
