Axle Rating

What would be a good guess for the axle rating for an old 26' camper I have. This camper is about 10-12 years old. It has two axles. I may use the axles to make a trailer. I am going to tear up the camper and thought it would be a shame to get rid of the axles if I can use them.

Is it dual axle? Take the GVWR of the trailer(should be on registration and tagged on the trailer tongue. Divide that by two.

My 7000 rated flatbed trailer has two 3500lb rated axles.

Most camper trailers have a tag on the frame designating the weight. There should also be a tag on the axles. Like RobertN said it should also be on the registration. My 30' camper weighs 5000# empty but is registered and tagged for 7K to account for water, supplies, food, clothing etc. that are loaded for the trip.
