Purchased an Avant 860 for my tree company a couple months ago. The machine has lived in the shop for everything from the grapple cutting the hoses because it arrived sharp as a razor to the garbage tiny mouth proprietary grapple hitting the mounting bracket for the hoses & knocking it off when open fully. The clamps on the plastic engine hood stop working immediately. The hoses are straight up designed with a flaw where they jet out over the wheel so the bolts bust loose Avant says they are redesigning the machine but they refuse to take the machine back. They do a good job at marketing their green machine but in reality they don’t have the kinks worked out at all. I wish I had passed on the $100k purchase as it’s literally lived in the shop for the entire life of the product & they have refused to take it back & cancel my contract. It’s a green plastic piece of junk that the company does not stand behind whatsoever. Buyer Beware.
