Mowing Availablity of Older Mower Deck Spindles?

Anyone know if the spindles are still available and if so where?

The 3 spindles for the Model 782 era 48 and 50" decks, around 1982 I guess.

I see them used on ebay now and then but no new ones. Maybe I'm asking too much!

A couple of years ago I asked my dealer about spindles for the deck on my 109 (129 now) from the 70's. He had some, but they were not cheap. The dealer is Sterling Farm Equipment in Sterling, Ohio. They may have the ones you want.

Any chance you could just replace the bearings on yours or, if needed, on used spindles?

If you have a 44 or 50 inch deck with the water pump style spindle bearings. We stock them at C&G. Price is $64 each. Attached is a photo of them.

CCC has retired them and wants you to buy a $120 spindle bearing kit instead....Save some $$$$ and replace them with the originals!!!

Wouldn't the 782 have the 50C style deck that allows just the upper and lower bearings to be replaced?

The 50C and 44C decks have the ST745 bearings as factory original parts.

The 190-358 and 190-318 (44 inch) and 190-359 (50 inch) decks have the new tapered roller bearing spindles as factory original parts.

These 190- decks have the front gauge wheels as factory install and should have a 1/2 inch round stiffener/grab rod over the discharge chute. The 190- decks are painted yellow too.
