I took my tractor in to get the 4wd repaired and the dealer told me Kioti have changed the delivery system some which resulted in quicker delivery times. They told me that once they've identified the problem with my tractor they may be able to get the parts in as little as a few days.

Highbeam,

I've bent those stablizer bars twice now. Ordered from Walllace via telephone. Parts arrived at my door in about 3 days. I guess it depends on if the dealer stocks them or not.

That is the mystery of the Oriental mind. They do both.

Like others have posted, we sell daily over the counter, along with USPS and UPS shipping. Our experience for parts that we order from the warehouse is well over a 95% fill rate the same day. It's one of the reasons we carry KIOTI Tractors. They are the OEM.

Where are the Kioti parts depots located in the USA?

The same manufacturer builds the kioti and bobcat

I bet many parts are interchangeable some are not

I think in some instances they do not share loaders and hoes

I'd make a stronger statement. Virtually all parts except paint, decals, backhoes and loaders are interchangable. I'm sure that will change a bit in the future but for current models I believe it is true.

Rick Wallace is the man to give us the definitive answer.

I recall there are three. California, North Carolina, and ???Texas or someplace else in between the other two.

The only part my dealer had to order was a complets set of taillight assemblys(don't ask). It took less that two weeks and they were only $70 ea.
My radiator fan(don't ask) was a stocked item & was $25.

So far, I have been pleased with parts availability and price & have owned Kioti's for 5+ years.

I've waited days for Deere and kubota parts in the past

If you can only tolerate zero time down buy a second machine as a parts machine this way you'll always have parts on hand

Try presenting that view to a large customer base & watch it turn into a small customer base quickly. I'm gathering information here, that's all. There's quite a difference from a customer satisfaction standpoint between having parts in one day via UPS ground and two or three days in the same manner. There's also major shortline companies out there that can't pick and fill an order in less than 36 hours, and that's a major PITA as well.

Seems like someone has an agenda, or is it just the way I read this?

As a kid I raced motocross, we had three bikes, all the same. One my brother raced, one I raced and one we had as an open bike we'd race in the open class. We also used the open bike as an emergency parts bike if need be.

We'd sell all three at the end of the season and do the same thing the next season.

Only way we knew for sure that we'd have exactly what we need no matter what failed on race day.

No matter what manufacturer you go with you'll find some parts imediately availabe and some not and no way to predict which will be which.

At the end of the day you'll find no material difference between Kioti and any of the other major brands.

PS, my last tractor was a Kubota B6000e, I had two of them so that I'd know I'd have a running machine just about no matter what.

My point was, if you want zero down time get a second machine, nothing more nothing less.

Is this not a place for sharing ideas & gathering information?

Sure, it is an awesome site for sharing and gathering information.
All I said is it appears that there seems to be an agenda behind said gathering of information

No good excuse for the delay, did you try calling other dealers? Rick Wallace maybe able to help. In the meantime get a piece of plexiglass and cut to size. Will at least keep the wind and snow out.

Good luck,
Joel

flatlander dave,

Can't you have a *hydraulic line made to spec locally? (*Assuming that is what you were saying you need?).
And I vote for plexiglass fix to get you by too.
