I'm looking to add a couple extra lights to my Gator, Deere makes a kit, but as we all know, they're pretty expensive.
I'm considering two forward facing lamps and one rear work light...probably flood lamps.

Frankly, I haven't been impressed with LED type lamps, but let's hear about what you've added to your side by sides.

Not sure what your budget or electrical system can handle, but I installed a pair of Rigid Dually D2's on the front of my Ranger and they are awesome - I have read where others have purchased some of the ones on the auction site and have been pleased with their performance and are alot less expensive - but I have no experience with them.

Are they considered spots or floods or a combination of the two? I'm looking at getting something to mount up high on my Gator 825's roof or roll bar for plowing and LEDs seem like the ideal solution

I bought the floods.

I went cheap and bought a pair of 55watt off road lights from Walmart about 7 years ago and put them on the front of my tractor. They still work great, even though they have a plastic housing and I've hit so many branches with them and bent them over more times then I can count. I've bought very expensive lights for Jeeps that I've owned, and they never seem to last, so this is something that I'm not sure if you get what you pay for.
