I own a j.d. 1070 with the joystick and front loader ports and would like to add another valve for rear aux. hydraulics. Is there another port somewhere that I could tap into to do this. There are 2 couplers on the back above the top link with a hose connecting them. I could maybe use that but I am not sure if it needs to have constant flow there. I don't want to cause pump damage by blocking that flow. Why else would there be a hose connecting them to each other? If someone has a 1070 or knows them well maybe you could help me out.

The hose at the back sounds like a power beyond line-did/does this machine have a backhoe?

If it is indeed a PB line, the it has full pump flow whenever the tractor is running, so you can add a new open center valve into that loop.

Got a picture?
