2008 Deere 4320 eHydro w/400X FEL and Unloaded R4's
Hi All,
When my parents and I (I am only 15) bought my 4320 about 2 months ago we knew we were going to be using it year round. But what i didn't think about was snow removal with my 400x loader. Before this tractor we had a Kioti CK30 that i was not happy with at all, but that is relevant. For two winter season before i got the deere i was doing snow removal with me FEL. I HATED it. I noticed on youtube (YouTube - Snow Plowing John Deere with Fisher Plow) that a place up in Maine makes an adapter to connect a 7 foot blade. This is probably a stupid question, do i need a Auxiliary Hydraulic valve to operate the angle on the blade? And would i be able to get put on my tractor? Or would i be able to use the Hydraulic system that a pickup truck would use? I would also use it for other things like maybe a 4 in 1 bucket or maybe a grapple bucket.

First, this should be in the Hydraulics forum;)

Yes, you will need a remote.
Yes, you can add one.

Search my friend...100's of post's on FEL mounted plows and the associated hydraulic they require.

deere4320,

Do you have the third rear outlet set on the tractor?

If you do you could tee into these coupler lines and run the hoses to the loader coupler locations. There is a set of hard steel lines premade for installing on the fel. You will be able to use either the front or the rear couplers one at a time. Meaning if you are using the front couplers with the plow then nothing should be plugged into the rear couplers and vice versa.

I recall someone posting within the last few days that the fel piping (hard lines) kit was about $350, teeing into the lines and running the hose from rear to middle of tractor with a pair of couplers should cost about $200 in parts.

If you do not have the third or rear outlet you will also need this kit which is an additional $300 approximately.
