My 2000 JD4300 is experienceing placard edge peeling on the sides of the hood and the insides of my fenders. I am looking for suggestions in removing these partially deteriorating placards from the fiberglass components without damaging the finish so I can install new ones in their place.

Try heating them with a hair dryer or heat gun, it will soften the glue and allows you to peel them away.

This trick also works with bumper stickers, price tags(for those things you don't want the wife to know how much something really cost's), made in china stickers, ect.
