Auto Throttle Question

Is the auto throttle on the hydrostatic tractors electric, mechanical, or a mixture of both? I really like the concept and was wondering if it would be adaptable to other brands. I don't have a Rural King store near me or I would have gone and looked!

Tractors with Common Rail engines tend to do it electronically. A sensor on the HST pedals gives feedback to the ECM.

Tractors with mechanical injection do it mechanically, with a cable setup and some sort of linkage on the pedals.
