Auger for NH 25s

I’m in the market for a post hole digger for my NH 25s. I want to get the longest auger I can, in an attempt to reach the frost line. Does anyone have any experience with a 36” or 48” auger on one of these. My local dealership wasn’t able to tell me what would fit and what wouldn’t, but all they had in stock was 32”. I’m really hoping I can do better than that.

I had an LS MT125, which is the same tractor as yours. I used the standard cat 1 PHD w/ a 48" auger. I believe it was "farm king" brand. Any of the store brands from TSC, Rural King, Menards, Agri Supply, etc... will work.

Everything Attachments does make a true "subcompact" PHD, but I don't have any experience with them. Or, if it would really make a difference.

Not sure what area you are in and what is around you. I would highly recommend Ag-Meier PHD's but they are made and sold in Texas.... not sure where else. I have punched around 150+ holes in our hard clay soil with a 12" auger like it was just topsoil. Never even broke the original shear bolts yet.
